In the studio today with wax and a blow drier and yet again, unavoidably so it seems, old photographs. The wax is moving in patterns like the water leaves the beach after a wave covers it...like the water moves across my windshield in the windy rain...like blood through veins. I have some control over its direction and pattern, but not complete. So say good bye to any old paintings like this one (that is no longer) that are on masonite because I am on a roll.
